Who We AreTransoranje School for the Deaf provides specialised education to profoundly Deaf learners, from the age of 3 years up to Grade 12.
Transoranje School is a Public School and a Non-Profit Organization (001-599 NPO / PBO930016729). Transoranje School for the Deaf was established at Pretoria West in August 1954.
Our staff consists of many disciplines. We have teachers, and social, and health care practitioners. We aim to guide our students to become well-balanced adults.

We can only help the children in our care through the hard work and dedication of all the teachers, administrators, and hostel staff. The cleanliness of the facilities and the grounds are our pride and joy. We see how much it means to the children that spend so much time here.

Transoranje School for the Deaf focuses on the unique needs of children with deafness. We accept students from all walks of life.
Some of the school’s students are further disadvantaged by having multiple disabilities: some are also intellectually challenged or physically impaired.
The school caters to the complete education and well-being of our students with deafness. Our learners are from diverse personal, social, and economic backgrounds.
